|| First of all you start with explaining the
theory of the cathode ray tube. You start by explaining the electron
and then move on to the deflection-system. The
pupils should know how the wave form is built up. Therefore you start
with the deflection of the Y-Plates and then you move on to the
deflections of the X-Plates. Always discuss zero voltage, dc voltage
and ac voltage. After this the students work on their own. Give each of
a frequency and let them determine the time of period and the voltage.
|Every student has at least once worked with
an oscilloscope and is able to determine at least the time of period
and the voltage.
|it's not easy to explain such an instrument
in English. But have a try!
